Okay, maybe you don’t have to shout it like Stanley Kowalski, but we bet you’ll want to once you meet our sweet girl, Stella.

This fluffy bundle of joy may not be riding a streetcar, but she’s definitely on a journey to find her forever home. 

This 7-year-old girl was the center of her owner’s universe until she had a special needs child and could no longer give Stella the attention she deserved. Her owner’s brother transported her across the country to step in and help, but that situation hasn’t worked out as well as he hoped. 

Stella loves to explore outdoors, but her high prey drive compels her to chase after squirrels and anything else that gets her attention. If she’s bored, she’ll try to entertain herself by digging or barking, so she’s going to need a home that knows how to keep her engaged. 

She just moved into her foster home this weekend and has gotten along well with the other dogs in the house, but considering her high prey drive, we wouldn’t recommend cats in the home. 

Stella is looking for a loving family who appreciates her playful spirit and fluffy cuddles and can keep this smart girl mentally engaged. She’s no drama queen, just a pretty girl looking for a family to call her own.
