Mochi

Mochi is an energetic, smart, 6-month-old female and every bit the typical Samoyed teenager, except even more so. Her combination of energy and smarts means that she’ll do best in a home with lots of outlets to keep her physically and mentally engaged. She’d do best in a home with another dog, particularly one that can match her energy while showing her the ropes of her new household.

Mochi would benefit from a lot of room to run, so a home with a large fenced yard would be ideal. If that yard had agility gear, that’d be even better: Mochi shows all the markers of a great potential agility dog, so an adopter with an interest in participating in that or other dog sports would be a great match.

Though she’s a full-speed dog with (foster’s words) “a 100mph brain,” she does have her cuddly side and is overall an extremely sweet dog. The only caveat is any potential adopter should expect her to test plenty of boundaries before she settles into her new home, and maybe for a good while after.
